Merry Owl Ornaments by BayMoonDesign |
Back in November, I signed up for an Ornament Blog Hop. There were really only 2 requirements.1. Create an ornament using handmade components or art beads. December 12th post your ornament on your blog. Between then and now, I read a wonderful tutorial by Heather Powers on her blog called Merry Little Owl Ornament Tutorial . When looking over what is needed for these very cute owls, I realized that I had everything. I have been promising myself that I would work more with polymer clay. Also, I had planned on making my daughter an owl ornament for Christmas. She loves owls. I gathered all of my supplies and set up an area in my laundry room to work. I am very pleased at the results. Heather's directions are excellent. Which is your favorite owl?

I am also trying to improve my skills with metal so I challenged myself to make an ornament with metal. My Christmas tree ornament is the result.
I created a digital magazine to share my holiday jewelry, cards, recipes, photos, and poems. I hope that you will take a few moments to enjoy it and perhaps do some last minute shopping.
If you need any last minute gifts or cards, my online store is offering free gift wrapping and handmade gift tags.
Happy Holidays to all!
Way to push yourself to try new things, great ornaments! I think it's great (Heather's tutorial for those sweet owls looks enticing!) to challenge one's self. Love the Glossi too!
