There are a number of color palettes that Pantone has put together to use with Classic Blue. For a pair of earrings that I made, I selected the Exotic Tastes palette for my color inspiration.

A palette that compliments Classic Blue |
This palette is an intriguing and adventurous potpourri of tastes and colors reflective of natural seasonings, condiments and blue foods. Foods that are a similar blue as PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue are rich in anthocyanins. Blueberries are a good example.

These blue moon earrings make a celestial statement with pops of white, orange, yellow. The colors were inspired by the Exotic Tastes palette. The blue moon was made by Brooke Bock. I added yellow, orange and white o beads that I purchased from My Elements. I think they create a whimsical look. The earrings have sterling silver ear wires.
I am looking forward to seeing what colors others use with Classic Blue. What do you think of my color combinations?
I feel that you components give the feeling of being made of Denim due to the antiquing done on them. Yes, the colour does give it the Tshirt and Blue jeans feeling - A girl happy in her jeans and Tee :)
ReplyDeleteI love these blue moons! What fabulous little faces. I agree with you. I think that this color is elegant, classic, grounding and neutral. Everything will go with this color! I am putting together palettes using this blue as the base for my class this summer. I think it will be a great way to celebrate this CotY! Thanks for playing along with me in the We're All Ears challenge! Enjoy the day! Erin
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in your earrings, Kathy! In fact, I've been loving all takes on blue - you're right that so many colors go well with it. :)
ReplyDeleteThose earrings are so yummy! And, you're right - blue goes with everything! ;)
